"I grew up on a small hobby farm a few miles outside Morris, MN, where I raised show lambs, and also worked on our family owned well drilling and water conditioning business. My family includes my mom (Wendy), dad (late Kevin), and younger sister (Kayla). Growing up, I was actively involved in 4-H, where I showed sheep and cattle, and also participated in General Livestock Knowledge Bowl. Besides showing, I also enjoy numerous other hobbies including football, basketball, throwing in track, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and spending time and socializing with friends and family. Besides DTS, on campus I am also involved with Block and Bridle and plan on participating on the General Livestock Judging team."

"I grew up near Rosemount on a 200 sow farrow to finish hog operation. We also raise a couple hundred head of cattle each year and about 1,000 acres of crops. My parents are Greg and Sandi, and I have three siblings: Brian, Nicki and Kevin. I have been involved in 4-H and FFA showing beef, hogs, and sheep. In high school I was a member of the wrestling team and the National Honor Society. On campus I am in the Block and Bridle Club and work at the Cereal Disease Lab Researching crop rust."

"I was born and raised in Morris, Minnesota. I grew up on a small farm with 40 purebred Dorset ewes. Have show beef, sheep, and swine in 4-H. I also participated in 4-H General Livestock Bowl. In my spare time you will find me outdoors usually hunting or paintballing. Here at the University of Minnesota I participate in DTS and Block and Bridles. I am the freshman chair for the spring Block and Bridle Pig Sale. I am currently working close to 15 hours a week at the meat lab. Working at the meat lab is a very educational job and it pays the bills."
